Colin Taylor is an award winning Editor with over 20 years of experience editing a variety of shows that have appeared on major television and cable networks including award shows, documentaries, game shows, multi-camera music and stand up comedy performances, reality shows, and many others.  During his career he has worked with many celebrities, artists and entertainers including Prince (Davis Smiley Show), Cedric The Entertainer (Comic View), Steve Harvey (Celebration Of Gospel), and he was the Editor and Online Editor for Whitney Houston's final televised performance (2011 Celebration of Gospel). He has also served as an Editor or Online Editor for the 79th Academy Awards, Teen Choice Awards, 12th ALMA Awards, Entertainment Tonight, Dr. Phil, Showtime At The Apollo, and more. 

A graduate of the California State University at Los Angeles, where he received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Radio & Television Broadcasting, Colin Taylor was a part of the production team that helped LA Cityview 35 win a Los Angeles Emmy Award (1993).  He was the Feature News Story Editor for America Now, where he was the recipient of a Telly Award in 2013 for Best News or News Feature.  He also served as the Post Production Supervisor and Post Production Manager at the Black Entertainment Television (BET) network, where he was responsible for determining post production budgets, creating post production schedules, locating and selecting potential editorial staff, as well as facilitating the delivery of shows to the network.  

This wealth of experience is vital to his approach to editing each new show with the goal of realizing the artistic integrity and vision of the project, while insuring that the finished product meets the visual aesthetics and technical specifications required by the client and delivered on schedule.
